I am a doctor and use primarily for recording medical operative videos.

i would be very thankful if you could include a basic function for

1) Renaming files recorded on disk to custom names on the disk itself.

2) Embed date, time and name on video recorded (Hard coding). This is a very simple approach now a days and implemented successfully even in low end pen cameras which allow recording.

The above things are required so as to give the files immediately to patient with his name,date and time and also so that when I would having thosands of videos i should be able to differentiate every video.

!!! MY INTENTION IS NOT TO USE "HMC-770D" AS NAS !!!

Situation:

I have Qnap TS-809Pro - it has share named "abigs" domain "OFFICE" IP 192.168.1.123 <- This is NAS and used as share of media folder named "abigs".


HMC-770D - Connected via Ethernet cable, IP 192.168.1.120.

now when i connect the HMC-770D to TV and want to browse the network, it will not show any shares at all

Is there possibility to enter the IP address of the share server to help the HMC-770D to establish a connection?

I mean that if there is or could be menue option inside the "HMC-770D" to enter the IP address of "Qnap TS-809Pro" to help the "HMC-770D" to locate the shares on "Qnap TS-809Pro".

Thanks for your reply.

Even though your solution is effective having a proper backup right from the start seems a much better option. I mean having a folder created for data of day 1 when inserting the memory card on day 1, another folder for data of day 2 (and only day 2) when inserting the card on day 2, and so on.

Looking forward to having a firmware upgrade soon.

A: No.It is limitation of HMC-770D controller, and it is unable for HMC to work as NAS. In other words, you can not establish a connection at HMC for others' share.

We have tested the issue and DVD can be zoomed aftet play.

Or can you try to test another DVD ?

Thanks for your suggestions.

Or you can use multi-select function to tick desired data or folder and copy to a folder within day1 ~ dayN.

And multi-select redundant backup folders to delete all of them.

I have copied a DVD to the vosonic, but when I tried to play and befopre it got to main menue I pressed ok, then it will zoom, as soon it soom and it gets to main menue of DVD then it will alwasy expect ok to be a zoom key not a ok key,

in other wards

when i press ok key beofere arriving to main menue of dvd then it iwll not le me slecst play, as the ok key will be zoom not an ok key
