Beside storing and viewing pictures i use my 8860 as a normal external disk drive to transfer files from one PC to another. Therefore, my 8860 is often connected to my PC. On every connect to my PC it starts to load the battery of my 8860 independent to the charging status of my battery.
So it's just my second damaged battery. Is this an known problem and how can i avoid it?

Dear MOM ,

Is this an known problem and how can i avoid it? A : Maybe battery is low. We recommend plug AC power DC5V/2.5A adapter to VP8870 while VP8870 is fully working on removing the battery. or use that Y cable of USB from vosonic. Because the current is about 1A. Dear Dr. Vosonic,
when i remove the battery during the connection with the PC, my 8860 don't work. You can't start the 8860 only with the connected Y-USB-Cable without the battery. The only way to avoid battery damage seems to be the usage of the AC power DC5V/2.5A adapter without a battery inside the 8860. This is not much comfortable and userfriedly. Perhaps you have another advice. If not - perhaps this problem can help your development units to enhance the quality of this product.
